Conscious leg dynamics
In this position, you can develop a conscious dynamic in the legs. The centre of the movement is in the lumbar spine. By creating a flowing and soft movement approach from there, a dynamic is created in the legs. This consists of an interplay of sliding, flowing and contracting and gathering. This dynamic movement gradually builds up. The legs appear long and dynamic – and the same feeling is created.
This allows you to develop great and flowing strength in the wide stretch. This repetitive circular movement creates a flowing dynamic and strength. The stronger the leg dynamics are developed, the easier it is for the upper body to glide forwards.
Just as the cycle of all water movements always turns to a centre, the practitioner also turns to the centre in the lower back. He experiences himself as a whole by leaving the peripheral limbs to move freely on the one hand and increasingly centring himself towards a physical centre on the other. The expansiveness of the limbs flows back into the centre of the lower back and is internalised in it.
