The idea of the three-fold structure in anantāsana

Caterina Rossi explains and shows the lying triangle, anantāsana, with one important idea, to correct the students and one’s own body:

The three-fold structure

1. Free and relaxed head and shoulders
2. Open, wide and sensitive chest and breathing
3. Force and dynamic in the legs, creating stability

Creating a stability in the lower back

Often the students will lack the stability in the lower back an will lose balance in the position. Without the centering in the lower back, the equilibrium is lost. The hips will fall backwards. The stability is a result of the gathering of a force in the lower back.

Without the centering in the lower back, the equilibrium is lost.
The stability is a result of the gathering of a force in the lower back.
When the force is gathered in the right point the position can lift itself up.
